Where you least expect it

The other day I was preaching with the special pioneer brother here in town, in a rather rough section, and we made a return visit on this guy from Haiti. We had quite an interesting conversation. As it turns out, he doesn´t speak any Spanish, but is very well educated. He and the special pioneer converse (if you want to call it that) in English. It is a rather rare thing for me down here to be able to preach in English. As a mater of fact, I spoke to two different Americans this morning, and both were very, very, very not-interested. But here is this Haitian, very humble and willing to learn. We later learned that not only does he know English, but has several certificates in various fields. He is certified to repair cell phones, TVs and computers. He can´t find any work doing that here though, because he is Haitian. So he is looking for work in construction, to see if he can save up enough money to start his own business. Anyway, as we are preaching, the only literature that we have in English is a tract, so there we are, all three of us around this little tract. The two of them are going back and forth, and my main job is to fill in the blanks if somebody doesn´t understand something. Apparently this man has already come to a meeting or two, so we will see whats comes out of it.

We have a storm going on right now down here, and the owner of the internet center wants us all to leave so she can go home.
So until next time,
Stay classy planet Earth

Just got an email from Sosua. They just had their first CO visit to the new Creole group. Had 45 at the Sunday talk. Pretty good for a new group. A new Haitian brother was just baptized at their District Convention. It's an open field!

heard abt. your convention; now I'm getting excited for ours; you'd better get some more English literature or at least one piece that's bigger so all three of you can see it.
